Simcoe® Hops
Simcoe® is a hop bred by Yakima Chief Ranches (YCR) and is known for its unique flavor properties. It was released and trademarked in 2000. Simcoe® has become one of the most iconic and widely used dual-purpose hops in American craft brewing — prized for its exceptionally low cohumulone content (17–21%), which delivers smooth, clean bitterness, and its complex aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit, and pine that has defined a generation of West Coast and hazy IPAs.
