Potassium Metabisulfite 2 oz. Antioxidant and antimicrobial additive for wine and mead. Inhibits wild yeast and bacteria before fermentation and protects finished wine from oxidation.
Use 1/4 tsp per 5 gallons to sanitize must before pitching yeast. At bottling, use 1/4 tsp per 5 gallons to protect against oxidation. Also used to neutralize chlorine in tap water.
