Northern Brewer Hops
Northern Brewer was an English hop bred in 1934. Its pedigree can be traced to a cross between a female American wild hop and an English father. Today, Northern Brewer is grown in the U.S., U.K., and Germany, with Germany being the primary growing region. Its clean, resinous pine and tobacco character — with a distinctive lemon balm finish — makes it a versatile dual-purpose hop well suited to both bittering and aroma applications across a wide range of styles.
Aroma & Flavor Profile
