Mt. Hood Hops
Mt. Hood is an aroma variety released in 1989 from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) breeding program in Oregon. The variety is a triploid daughter of Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and a sister to Liberty. Like its siblings Crystal and Liberty, Mt. Hood carries the refined noble character of its Hallertauer Mittelfrüh parentage — delivering a clean, spicy, and herbal aroma that makes it an excellent domestic substitute for classic German noble hops.
