Magnesium Sulfate 2 oz

Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt) 2 oz. Water chemistry salt for brewing water adjustments. Adds sulfate character and a dry, bitter finish. Also provides magnesium, an essential yeast nutrient.

Add directly to the mash or brewing water. Typical usage is 1/2–1 tsp per 5 gallons. Use sparingly — excess magnesium can cause a harsh, astringent flavor.
