Idaho 7™ was originally known as 007 The Golden Hop. Released in 2015 by Jackson Hop Farm in Wilder, ID, this cultivar has high alpha content and also contributes highly desirable flavor attributes to beer. Its bold tropical and citrus character — anchored by guava, apricot, and pine resin — has made it one of the most exciting American hop releases of the past decade, equally at home as a bittering addition or a generous dry hop.
