Hallertau Blanc Hops
Hallertau Blanc is a German variety bred at Hüll and is a daughter of Cascade. It was released in 2012 as one of the varieties which have been bred and commercialized in response to demand from the craft beer industry’s desire for bold tastes and differentiating flavors. Despite its German origins, Hallertau Blanc’s Cascade parentage gives it a distinctly New World character — delivering a striking white wine and cassis profile that sets it apart from traditional noble German hops.
