Galena Hop Pellets (US)

Galena Hops

The name Galena is from the ancient Roman term for the mineral galenite which occurs in the soils of Oregon. Galena, a daughter of Brewers Gold, was developed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) breeding program in Idaho and released in 1978. A reliable high-alpha bittering hop with a clean, pleasant aroma, Galena has been a workhorse of American commercial brewing for decades — delivering consistent bitterness and a subtle citrus-fruit character that complements a wide range of styles.
