Ekuanot® Hops

Ekuanot® HBC 366 c.v. was commercially released in 2014 as “Equinox” by the Hop Breeding Company (HBC) in Yakima, and was subsequently renamed due to trademark issues. The variety has high alpha acids and essential oil content, and is known for its vibrant yellow color during early spring growth. Its diversified and pronounced aroma characteristics, extremely high oil content, and tight cone structure make Ekuanot® a truly unique hop variety — capable of delivering a wide spectrum of tropical, citrus, and herbal notes in a single addition.
